Reading in the Schools
Youth from across the Twin Cities learn about their history through the Juneteenth History in the Schools sponsored by Target Stores. Youth are invited to submit an essay about what they have learned. Winners announced at the Kumbayah . . . The Juneteenth Story.
This year, 2010, we have decided to have our celebration extended for two days:
Saturday, June 19th 8:30 am. to 6:30 pm. (location to be determined) and
Sunday, June 20th 6:30 pm. to 8:30 pm. (location be determined)
We would like all Twin Cities citizens to join us in celebrating our 25th year in rejoicing our heritage.
